During the 2018-2019 school year, Lemont-Bromberek School District 113A will be moving to a new Student Information System, Skyward Qmulative, which will replace our current system, SDS.
Skyward is a robust platform that allows students, parents, and staff to receive real-time information and communication and complete documentation online. A few features we are excited to utilize include:
Family Access: Lunch fees/food service, calendars, attendance, assignments and grading, student report cards, message center, enrollment and more!
Continuity of Communication Platform for Families: Skyward is the same platform that Lemont High School uses, allowing for a seamless collaboration and transition for families PK-12.
As a part of this change, Blackboard Connect will be replaced by "Family Access/School Messenger.” The first few weeks of July will be a time of transition, and you may not receive as many communications from our schools during this time. While we move from Blackboard to “Family Access/School Messenger,” it will be critical that we have updated contact information from our families. If ANY of your information has changed, please contact your child’s school as soon as possible. Please visit this page for information on Skyward throughout the summer.
For more information about Skyward, you can visit Skywards parent information pages to access nearly a dozen Power-Up videos and get answers to some frequently asked questions. You can also download the mobile app for more convenient access by visiting your app store of choice and searching for “Skyward.” Look for the app with the white arches in the logo.
Skyward’s online features allow for ease of use and a more seamless process for submitting documentation and receiving communication from District 113A. We look forward to sharing information about Skyward and individual login access as the school year approaches and at meet and greet events.
