Oakwood Elementary held an assembly on Friday, November 9th to honor the Veterans in our community. More than 60 Veterans and their loved ones heard songs, poems, and speeches thanking the Veterans for their service. Each Veteran received a thank you card signed by more than 700 proud Oakwood students. Each Veteran also added an United States Flag themed link to a chain that will be displayed in the Oakwood lobby throughout the year. We are so proud of our Veterans and it was a privilege to celebrate them on this day.
