My name is Tom Gaw, and this is my third year teaching at Old Quarry Middle School. I am very excited to begin the school year, and I look forward to having the opportunity to teach your students and get to know them in the classroom this year.
I studied Elementary Education at the University of Illinois at Champiagn-Urbana with a concentration in Mathematics. I also received middle school teaching endorsements in Math, Social Science, Science, and Language Arts. After graduation, I received my teaching license in from the Illinois State Board of Education.
I am originally from Palos Heights, Illinois, which is a south suburb of Chicago. I have two older brothers, and one older sister, making me the youngest child in my family. I am a big sports fan (Go Blackhawks!) and I also enjoy listening to music and going to the movies.
