ABOUT ME

Position: 

4th Grade Teacher 

Education:

I received my Bachelor of Science in Education from Illinois State University in May of 2010.  I am certified in elementary teaching and endorsed in both Language Arts and Reading.  I earned my Masters of Arts in Reading from Concordia in 2016.

Biographical Information:

This is my sixth year teaching in District 113a.  I taught at Old Quarry for two years and I have taught at River Valley since 2014.  My husband and I have a house in Lombard.  In our free time, we enjoy bowling with our friends on a league and cooking for our friends and family.  When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading a good book, playing with my yorkie,  Coco, and beagle, Rizzoli.  I also enjoy watching the White Sox and Bears. My husband and are excitedly awaiting the arrival of our first baby this October.
