ALL ABOUT ME
Wow...this is my 32nd year of teaching! While not in the classroom I spend my time hiking, kayaking, biking, in the garden, quilting, cooking, playing my flute, goofing off with my German Shepherd, Punkin, and cheering on the Cubs and my beloved Blackhawks - check out the photo above my desk from my visit to Toronto and the Hockey Hall of Fame where we had 15 minutes alone with The Stanley Cup! My husband Aaron is an elementary school principal, and we just celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary this summer! I am also a Blue and Gold Officer for the United States Naval Academy which affords me the opportunity to work with high school students who are interested in becoming Midshipman at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. It's a thrill to assist these young men and women achieve their dreams...and the dreams of my students at Oakwood!
