Meet your Principal
by Debra Lynch
I have been blessed to work in the Lemont-Bromberek School District for many years. I started out as Oakwood's assistant principal. I then moved to Central School as a principal where I remained for the next four years. My next move was to Bromberek School where the staff and I spent two years together getting ready to open up the newest building in the district, River Valley.
I have been married over 15 years to a Chicago police officer. I enjoy reading, traveling and swimming.
It is an honor to work by the side of my colleagues here at River Valley and we are delighted to serve you and your children. There is no greater work to be done than that of helping a child.
This year I will be conducting a series of town meetings with our students. Periodically throughout the year I will be meeting with our students about current issues effecting our student population. Below you will find the power point presentations that accompany the meetings.
Children may close their ears to advice, but their eyes are always open to example.
