ATTENDANCE POLICY
In order to ensure the safety and
welfare of the students, School District 113A uses a call-in
attendance procedure. When illness or emergency necessitates
a child's absence from school, parents are asked to call the
school's attendance line before 7:45 a.m. to inform the school of
the absence.
Please call 257-2286 to report an absence.
Emergency Closing of School
Except in cases of emergency, schools
will be kept open in accordance with the school calendar.
When it is necessary to close schools in the morning or to delay
the start of school by one hour because of extreme weather or other
emergencies, the following radio and television stations will be
notified to make an announcement.
Also check http://www.emergencyclosings.com
for school closures.

School Visitors
All visitors are required to register in the school office upon entering the school building and receive a visitor's badge which must be visible for the duration of the visit. Visitors should not go to classrooms or anywhere else in the building without permission from the office. The Board of Education of School District 113A encourages parents to visit classes as observers. As a courtesy to the classroom teacher and a measure to guard against a disruption of the normal educational program, appointments are required for such visits.
