By Susan Wulczyn
September 07, 2009
Children with disabilities who attend parochial schools or who are home-schooled may be entitled to services based on the proportionate share of Federal IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Act) money. Each year, representatives from the nonpublic schools in Lemont, as well as parents of students with disabilities or those for whom a disability is suspected, who are parentally placed in nonpublic schools or home-schooled, are invited to provide input about how to spend these federal dollars. This meeting is Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 10 AM in the 113A District Office at 18100 127th St. in Lemont. If you are interested in attending, please contact Kathy Kasper, Secretary for Student Services, at 630-257-2286, ext. 4615 or kkasper@sd113a.org.
