Seeking Applicants for a 

Vacancy on the 

Board of Education

 

The Board of Education is accepting applications to fill a vacancy that will occur on March 1, 2010, with a term of office to expire in April, 2011.

 

A School Board Member must be:

 

1.    A United States citizen;

2.    At least 18 years of age;

3.    A resident of Illinois and District 113A for at least 1 year;

4.    A registered voter; and

5.    Neither a school trustee nor a school treasurer.

 

Interested parties should send a letter of application and current resume to the Board of Education.  Letters should include the following information:  1)  Reasons for interest in serving on the Board of Education; and 2) Background and experiences that make the applicant a good candidate for being a School Board Member.  Please send letter of application and resume to:
