By Mary Ellen Schaffer
This summer, District 113A is proud to announce that it is one of the training sites for the Illinois Autism Training and Technical Assistance Project (IATTAP). This worthwhile project provides training throughout the state of Illinois to teachers, therapists and other specialists in providing best practices for children on the autism spectrum.
Teachers, psychologists and social workers from District 113A, as well as professionals from neighboring school districts, will be engaged in full-day intensive training from Monday, July 21 through Friday, July 25, 2008 at River Valley School.
