Project Wisdom

October kicks off our new Project Wisdom Character Education program at River Valley School! Each month there is a new theme that River Valley students and staff members will celebrate. “Making a Difference," “Keeping a Positive Attitude” and "Celebrating Diversity" are just few examples of the themes we will be celebrating throughout the school year. Throughout the year we will be honored to have special guest readers spread words of wisdom as part of our morning announcements.
Students will have the opportunity to visit the “Character Corner” which is located across from the library. Students can pick up an activity to complete and turn it into the “Collections of Good Character Box” in the office. This month the activity is a journal entry. Upcoming activities will be creating a collage, writing a song, and developing a recipe for respect. Various entries will be selected and the students will be rewarded for their efforts.
